Introducing LIKKLE LIT FEST, Out of Many People’s first festival of Black literature and writing for children and young adult readers – rooted in Black narratives, history and characters, told by Black writers, brought to life by Black illustrators, to be enjoyed by all.
An Out of Many People takeover of the historic Leeds Central Library to kick off the city’s Leeds Storytelling Festival featuring;
- Interactive workshops by beloved children’s authors and illustrators
- National Poetry Centre Rubbish Words upcycled poetry drop-in
- The British Library Anansi Corner
- Storytelling with our elders and local role models
- Publisher panel talks
- Family-friendly artisan marketplace
- Drop-in arts and crafts workshops
- Book stalls
